SciArt Party Instagram Takeover

 

On 7 February 2021, I had the opportunity to do an Instagram takeover of one of the science and art community I'm active with, known as SciArt Party. SciArt Party community is founded by Dr Merrit Moore and Montserrat Fregoso Fonseca. 

First time I discovered and got involved with this amazing science art community was during their zoom event with Dr Neil Degrasse Tyson. That's right, we got to see Dr Neil Degrasse Tyson talking to us live through zoom. It was a memorable moment and I was very lucky to receive his wisdom about the intersection of art and science. 

I was invited by SciArt Party team (Ava Thienel) to do the IG takeover by posting pictures, videos and stories related to my science+art expertise, which is creating scientifically accurate realistic+abstract Space Arts. I had so much fun sharing my Space Arts and basically Astronomical journey with the like-minded people across the world.

I also did a live painting of the Milky Way galaxy while talking about my space art painting process. Dr Merrit also joined me for a brief while in the live comment section which was a huge honour! I'm looking forward for more activities from SciArt Party!
